Mount Weed 3080 m,
Banff National Park

After a brief storm, a skiff of snow lingers on Mount Murchison as seen from the summit.
Looking towards Peyto Lake and Wapta Icefield from Mount Weed. This was not a good day for pictures but at least I didn't get soaked.
This ascent is just one of over 155 scrambles fully described in my new guidebook, Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies, which can be ordered online by clicking here.
