Mount Fox 2973 m
Kananaskis Country, Alberta

Mount Fox is an exciting scramble that straddles the Alberta-British Columbia boundary, southwest of Calgary. This day trip gives a birds-eye view of beautiful Kananaskis Lakes and the fabulous big peaks nearby like Mount Joffre. A rope is not required when conditions are dry and the ridge is free of snow.

Joffre in distance at far right of picture. We were blessed with a fine July day for this
ascent.
A fabulous view north encompasses
Kananaskis Lakes and a myriad of more peaks to climb.
